Apply for a Grant 

WFUM is accepting applications now through October 17, 2025, for events taking place from January 1-June 30, 2026. Students can apply for a grant of up to $5,000 for a project or program.

Please follow these simple steps to apply:

  • Step 1: NEW this year: One member of your group or project must attend a grants info session. Sessions for this cycle were held on September 16-18. If you were not able to attend, please contact Alyssa Leonard at aleonard [at] uma-foundation [dot] org (aleonard[at]uma-foundation[dot]org) to discuss alternative options.
  • Step 2: Fill out the grant application.
  • Step 3: Complete the budget spreadsheet, submit, download, and attach it to your application above.
  • Step 4: Submit application (with budget spreadsheet attached).

Grant recipients will be notified of their awards in early December 2025. Timelines subject to change. 

 

Grant applications will open on February 3, 2026, for projects occurring July 1–December 31, 2026.

The WFUM Grants program provides funding for on-campus initiatives focused on access, support, and opportunity for students, especially those that positively impact women and their communities.
